UN, Olympics leaders hear about GROW Girls sports, life-skills program

On February 25, 2012, Zambia's Olympic Youth Development Centre (OYDC) in Lusaka was honored with a visit from United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Jacques Rogge. During the visit, the dignitaries heard from participants in an FHI 360 program that partners with OYDC to integrate HIV prevention and other valuable life skills into its sports programming. The OYDC program is part of the Zambia-led Prevention Initiative (ZPI), funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development.
